In almost two decades of patient and constant research exclusively set on autoctonous Tuscan grape varieties, the Caputo family was able to achieve the unique production of 3 easy-to-drink blends, named Mafefa after the inital syllable of the 3 children’s names Martina, Federico and Fabio, along with 4 monovarietal long-aged red wines, based on 100% Trebbiano, Malvasia Nera, Sangiovese or Colorino.

A great place to taste great wines: your home!
The location of our wine tasting session will be one of your favorite places! Stay safely home in this year of limited travel and enjoy a private guided live streaming wine tasting session with our Tuscan wine & food tour guide. We will provide all instructions on how to connect to our guide using Zoom or Skype.
It will be a presentation of the wines in an informal and pleasant setting. You will choose beforehand which wines you want to open and drink for the event. During the presentation, our guide will also provide plenty of interesting information on the winery that produces them and the passion that moves the winemakers. You will learn a lot about Tuscan wines, differences of appellations and the best pairings with food. To support the presentation, the guide will also show you pictures of the winery and the historical town near it.
You will only have to think about some snacks or foods to pair with the wines!
We will agree on your favorite day and time
We will study the best timing according to your time zone. As we will be airing from Italy (Central European Time, CET +1), it is important that the timing for the wine tasting is agreed on. We will choose the best timing also considering that each session takes 90 minutes.
The chance to extend the wine tasting session to your family, relatives and friends
If you want to share this experience with other people of your circle, we give you the possibility to share our private guided wine tasting session with your family, relatives or friends. You can invite them over during the guided tasting session or you can sign up together with others in your party through other connected devices, located in any place. You do not need any particular tool or specific knowledge on wines. It will be a lot of fun all together, yet still respecting social distancing.
